Installation / Updates
  1. Download the Precoded Clip zip file.

    2. clip-um-member-youtube-videos.1.0.zip

    Download Clip
  2. Go to Settings > Clips in WordPress admin and install via 'WP Clips Manager'; OR unzip and upload via FTP (or file manager) to the /wp-content/clips/precoded/ directory.

Description

USING THE CLIP

Admin

For global settings, go to Ultimate Member > Settings > Extensions. Select ‘YouTube Videos’ to view options. Here you can:

  • add your YouTube API key (required)
  • select which user roles to include the YouTube videos option
  • set number of videos to display (default 5, max 25)
  • hide video excerpts (short descriptions)

Users

If enabled for the user’s role, a ‘YouTube Settings’ tab will be added to the user’s Account page. The feature is activated by entering a ‘YouTube Channel ID’ to the respective field. Users can:

  • show videos from their channel (Channel ID only)
  • specify a playlist (Channel ID + Playlist ID)
  • hide the channel subscribe button/link

Appearance

When set, a ‘Videos’ tab will appear in the user’s profile page featuring a channel subscribe button and recent videos. Short descriptions are included (if set to show) and links to the native videos on YouTube.
